    • En fonction des diagnostiques disponibles, nous vérifierons les caractéristiques principales de la circulation atmosphérique et de l'hydrologie froide du modèle au Sud de 40-60°S. Sur l'océan austral, nous vérifierons les caractéristiques de la distribution de masse de l'atmosphère (pression au niveau de la mer): position et structure de la basse pression circumpolaire, variabilité, oscillation Antarctique, propagation d'ENSO, etc. Nous vérifierons le bilan de masse de surface de la calotte Antarctique, la distribution spatiale de ce bilan et sa variabilité temporelle dans les régions où nous disposons d'observations (observatoire GLACIOCLIM-SAMBA en particulier). Sur le plateau Antarctique, nous comparerons les simulations aux observations de la couche limite de surface de l'observatoire CENACLAM. Si les diagnostiques disponibles de rayonnement en surface le permettent, nous les comparerons aux observations de solaire direct et diffus et d'infrarouge en surface de la station BSRN du Dôme C.
