Welcome to the LUDUS framework

The LUDUS framework started as LOVECLIM User's Development, Unofficial Software as a mean to provide a plateform for users of LOVECLIM developping it further.

LUDUS as evolved over time to be a framework where exchange, improvements and bugfixes are shared for the LOVECLIM unofficial version. It thus provides a ground for training with the LOVECLIM model before going to the wider Science Arena. As such it is not unlike the Ludus Magnus of the ancient Rome that provided training for the gladiators before the Arena.

Where to start?

If you are a member of the LUDUS plateform, the first action to consider is to login (link on the upper right) so as to obtain the full details on everything available on this page. Then, you probably want to checkout the "Timeline" section, to see what are the latest developments with LOVECLIM / iLOVECLIM.

Another thing you may want to look at is the Documentation.

"trac-admin yourenvdir initenv" created a new Trac environment, containing a default set of wiki pages and some sample data. This newly created environment also contains documentation to help you get started with your project.

You can use trac-admin to configure Trac to better fit your project, especially in regard to components, versions and milestones.

TracGuide is a good place to start.

Enjoy!
