Dear NEMO Users,

In the frame of H2020 IMMERSE “Improving Ocean Models for the Copernicus Programme”, we are organizing a first IMMERSE User Remote Workshop on Apr 5th 2019 starting from 3:00pm (Rome time). The scope of this User Remote Workshop is to present the general objectives of IMMERSE Project, CMEMS and DIAS, and to get feedbacks from participants, through a questionnaire, in order to refine, assess and consolidate the IMMERSE Interfaces High Level Architecture.

User Remote Workshop on Interfaces Webinar on Apr 5th 2019 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Rome time.

IMMERSE is a new H2020 project which aims to prepare numerical ocean models for the next generation Copernicus Marine Environment and Monitoring Service (CMEMS). It received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 821926. To strengthen and facilitate the link between new advanced CMEMS products to services and downstream applications, IMMERSE sets a dedicated work-package that aims to prepare the integration of products based on improved ocean models and high- resolution EO datasets and, in particular, to implement a prototype toolbox for seamless uptake of CMEMS products in downstream operational systems. The scope of this User Remote Workshop is to present the general objectives of IMMERSE Project, CMEMS and DIAS, and to get feedbacks, through a questionnaire, from the users audience in order to refine, assess and consolidate the IMMERSE Interfaces High Level Architecture.

Agenda:

  • 3:00 Introduction, IMMERSE and WP7 Activities Dorotea Iovino, CMCC
  • 3:15 Copernicus Marine Service & DIAS Yann Drillet, MOI
  • 3:30 Scope of IMMERSE Task 7.3 and Questionnaire for Users Stefania Ciliberti, CMCC; Michela De Dominicis, NOC; James Harle, NOC; Jeff Polton, NOC; Laura Stefanizzi, CMCC
