#1198 closed Bug (fixed)

changed variables in restart files in dynspg_ts.F90

Reported by: flavoni Owned by: rfurner
Priority: low Milestone:
Component: OCE Version: release-3.6
Severity: Keywords:
Cc:

Description

In dev_MERGE_2013 running AMM12 I found new variable names in restart due to dynspg:

dyn_spg_ts : surface pressure gradient trend

free surface with time splitting

Number of sub cycle in 1 time-step (2 rdt) : icycle = 60

==⇒>> : E R R O R

===========

iom_varid, file: amm12_restart_oce.nc, var: ub2_b not found

Is it sufficient to change variable names in amm12 restart input files or is there something different in dynspg now?

Split explicit free surface is different. If starting from a restart file is mandatory, one need indeed a new restart file with ub2_b, vb2_b 2d arrays (these are time averaged transports centred at step nit000-0.5).
