This will be coded for use with both linear and non-linear free surface options. Enda O'dea and Gurvan Madec will both review the code. We will test it by running the code and outputting temperature and salinity values at specific points to ensure the code is reducing salinity etc, as expected. We will then assess the overall contribution of river inputs to the code by comparing with POLCOMS, and as part of the Shelf validation process.
