Virtual lagrangian drifters follow the position of a point within sea ice.  \\
They are useful for comparison with drifting ice-thethered buoys. \\
In NEMO we have two solutions, to implement that for sea ice. Either we use the same framework as for icebergs, or the same framework as ocean particle transport module. Decision must be made as which approach should be followed. Several options for initial disposition of buoys (eg square array, or observed buoy network) should also be provided. Virtual drifters must be destroyed once ice is gone.
