= EGU 2019 – Call for NEMO session

The EGU 2019 provisional program now includes a session linked to NEMO community:

The NEMO Consortium looks favourably at this initiative contributing to the visibility of its community at the European level and encourages all projects to contribute to this action by submitting an abstract to this EGU session.

== Details

This session will provide a forum to properly address the new scientific advances in numerical modelling of the ocean and their implication for NEMO developments associated with:

- Ocean dynamics at large to coastal scales, up to 1km resolution
- Ocean biogeochemistry
- Sea-ice
- New numerical schemes associated to energy conservation constraints
- High performance computing challenges and techniques

It will cover both research and operational activities contributing to new analysis, ideas and developments of ocean numerical models.
Presentations of results based on new NEMO functionalities and new NEMO model configurations are welcome.
