PHC_56 run

This run is based on the PHC_49 one except that:

  • nn_fwb = 2 (new case)
  • correction of the empold from the previous year as follows :

# if empold >0 it means that the SSH increase and so imply too much precipitation so empold is spread over erp >0 area to increase evaporation
# if empold <0 it means that the SSH decrease and so imply too much evaporation so empold is spread over erp <0 area to increase precipitation

Few patterns list:

- since ssh slowly increases, the correction we done tends to increase evaporation process and so 
to salt area where erp>0, i.e. where ocean is less salty than Levitus climatology
- it results in a salinisation almost everywhere in surface after 20 years.
- specially off Greenland eastern coast, these salty water reaches Labrador Sea
inducing a stronger convection process in this area.
- Max AMOC reaches ~15.04 Sv after 20 years (more than 3 Sv compare to the ref. PHC_49 experiment)
