Is there a way to send all of my ORCHIDEE output files to a different location?

The default output directory when using libIGCM at obelix is in /home/scratch01/login. Be aware that this disk is regularly cleaned. If a file is not used since 1 month it can be deleted.

Change the path to the archive base directory by adding the variable ARCHIVE=... in config.card section [UserChoices].

For example, set in config.card:

[UserChoices]
ARCHIVE=/home/orchidee02/${LOGIN}

Note that you have to obtain write permission from the computer support department on the disk you want to use.

It is NOT recommanded to change the ARCHIVE directory on TGCC and IDRIS supercomputers (irene and jean-zay for instance).
