Description

The namelist parameter ln_mskland (mask land points in NetCDF outputs) was not working with the IOSERVER. This has been fixed since changeset 415 of XIOS and reactivaed in NEMO.

  • Changes have been made in iom.F90 to reactivate the use of ln_mskland. By default, the missing value is defined in field_def.xml by: 
    default_value="1.e20"
  • I reviewed all iodef.xml files.
  • ORCA2_LIM/EXP00/iodef_demo.xml has been added to show the different possibilities offered by XIOS

=> need at least r415 of XIOS
=> need an update of field_def.xml, domain_def.xml and iodef.xml
=> I did not check the impact on IO performance...
