Description
Context
The newly introduced OSMOSIS surface boundary layer scheme will be thoroughly evaluated in longer runs of higher resolution global configurations. This work will first require some improvements to the single core performance of the zdfosm routine.

Testing in a global eORCA1 configuration identified some issues which needed changes to the algorithms to address. These changes are under review and will be re-tested in 2019. (VALID-02_georgeN-evalOSMOSIS). This ticket associated with the 2018WP will be closed.
