Abstract

The HPC performances of NEMO with AGRIF should be investigated...
Once everything is ok, we should be able to run zooms of the same level in parallel...

Description

1) run NEMO-AGRIF without any zoom and compare its performances with NEMO without AGRIF
2) add 1 zoom and check the performances. What is the coast of the interp and update on the performances? on the parallelisation?
3) allow the zooms to run on a different number of cores than the mother grid
4) allow zoom of the same level to run in parallel

Implementation

Describe flow chart of the changes in the code.
List the .F90 files and modules to be changed.
Detailed list of new variables (including namelists) to be defined, give for each the chosen name (following coding rules) and definition.

Reference manual and web pages updates

Using part 1 and 2, define the summary of changes to be done in reference manuals (tex files), guide (rst files) and in the content of web pages.

Once the PI has completed this section, he should send a mail to the previewer(s) asking them to preview the work within two weeks.
