Description
Two improvements in the snow process:
(1) To ensure the thickness of the 3 layers in the snow model is not too small when the snow mass decrease, the fractional snow cover is introduced. 'fs' in the document was added. https://forge.ipsl.jussieu.fr/orchidee/attachment/wiki/Meetings/CMIP6/Physic/SnowLayerFraction.pdf
(2) It seems that the current "soil-snow-atmosphere" scheme is not fully implicit, and an implicit coupling approach is going to be done. https://forge.ipsl.jussieu.fr/orchidee/wiki/Meetings/CMIP6/Physic#Snowcoupling
The (1) has been done by Tao and Fuxing on 22 Sep. 2015, but it has not been committed in the trunk version.
The (2) is planning to work on 2 Oct. 2015.
