#547 closed enhancement (fixed)

Analysis of the Spatial heterogeneity of gpp

Reported by: nvuilsce Owned by: peylin
Priority: minor Milestone: ORCHIDEE 3.0
Component: Biogeochemical processes Version: trunc
Keywords: gpp heterogeneity Cc:

Description (last modified by nvuilsce)

The gpp with the trunk version with nitrogen is probably too heterogeneous from one region to another, and also from one pixel to another within the same region. For instance gpp in Amazonia is quite low compare to its value in Central Africa, and there are large differences between pixels in Amazonia region.

A deeper analysis is needed for explaining what drives these differences.

Said today during ORCH meeting:
a solution has been tested and needs to be validated. Commit not yet done.
