ORCHIDEE training courses

Next training 22-23 of October 2015

Next training session will be held the 22 - 23 of October 2015 at IDRIS. See here how to go there: ​http://www.idris.fr/eng/general/contacts/access-idris-eng.html . On the program will be presentations done by Nicolas Vuichard, Fabienne Maignan, Matthieu Guimberteau, Philippe Peylin and Josefine Ghattas. New topics this year will be the CWRR 11 layer hydrology and outout using XIOS.

This training is preceded the 20-21 of October 2015 by a 2-days training course in IPSL running environment. This course is highly recommended for all ORCHIDEE users. Send your inscription to Anne Cozic, see more information here : ​https://forge.ipsl.jussieu.fr/igcmg_doc/wiki/Train

Both courses will be held at IDRIS in Orsay. They will be held in english if needed. The hands on sessions will be done on the IDRIS training computers (login/passwd will be provided during the training) or using personal login

Inscription must be done before 10th of October. Please send an email to Josefine Ghattas with following information :

• which days you want to follow (the first, the second, or both)
• if you want an English session or a French session.
• your nationality
• your expectation about the course (specific questions,...)

Training course 6-7 November 2014

See here the presentations and program for the 2-days training course of ORCHIDEE that was given the 6-7 of November. The course was held at IDRIS in Orsay (nearby LSCE and Paris).

In complement to this course, we strongly suggest all new users and developers of ORCHIDEE to attend the 2 days IPSL training course in the running environment.
