#1494 | vancop | vancop | wontfix | SI3 documentation |
Description |
The documentation of LIM3 We will update the documentation, but later this year as we have many other cats to whip at the moment. The reference namelist provided in the trunk is in principle ok for all resolutions. There might be adjustments, in order to calibrate your particular application that we are not yet aware of. For any questions on LIM3, contact martin (mvlod@…) and clement (crlod@…). Expected: end 2015 |

#1497 | nemo | anders | fixed | Only part of the array e_i (and others) stored in restart file |
Description |
The array e_i is allocated with third dimension as 1:nlay_i+1 (NEMO/LIM_SRC_3/ice.F90) but only 1:nlay_i is stored in the restart file (NEMO/LIM_SRC_3/limrst.F90). This leads to uninitialised memory will be used in LIM3 after a restart (e,g, in NEMO/LIM_SRC_3/limtrp.F90 where third dimensions is left unspecified in summations: zei = SUM( e_i(ji,jj,:,jl) )), potentially leading to strange results or numerical exceptions. In my case there are values in the range 1E280, which soon gives NaN. The mismatch between allocated size and stored size in restart files applies to the arrays s_i, sxe, sye, sxxe, syye, sxye as well, but I have not confirmed that these ones are actually causing problems. This bug has been investigated with a slightly modified version of revision 4908 of trunk but relevant parts of the code seem unchanged in current trunk (r5160). |

#1515 | deazer | deazer | invalid | Temporary branch for CO6 Collaboration and Rose Suite development. Allows some retro options in CO5 |
Description |
The purpose of this branch is to allow options that enable direct comparison with CO5 (based at vn3.4) in a newly developing ocean configuration (CO6 based at VN3.6) CO6 is also being developed at NOCL. It is expected this branch is temporary to allow backwards comparison of like for like simulation with CO5 and will not go back to the trunk. |
