Description

Agrif performances have been improved on vectorial computer. This feature has been tested on NEC SX8 (IDRIS). This includes :

  • pre-computation of weights and mother/chid indexes for interpolation and update
  • addition of NEC directives to avoid vectorization on short loops (typically nbdim)
  • loops tranformation for vectorization

Computation changes are induced.

Improvment of Agrif performance for sponge layer (NEMO-AGRIF routines):

  • rewriting of agrif_opa_sponge.F90
  • add nbclineupdate in namelist
  • add use of special value for dynamics in namelist
