Only very crude validation is routinely done with AGRIF. Additional testing with ORCA2 Agulhas configuration is needed in order to improve robustness. This is all the more necessary that a major update of AGRIF library is scheduled in the coming weeks. In addition to the "runability" test (which should be removed one day), I propose to duplicate restartability (N°18), reproducibility (N°19) SETTE tests in that configuration. An additional test that verifies that the code is not corrupted by the converter is also added (N°17). This simply runs the model with and without key_agrif and no zoom and check results consistency. |
