Context
The shaconemo (SHAred Configurations for NEMO) forge project has been created to allow the groups using NEMO in CMIP6 to share information, files and expertise. During the building phase (2016-2018) the project was private (login opened on demand, only to experts setting up the NEMO configurations for CMIP6). The project has been quite active both in terms of changes (wiki, tickets, source and configuration files), and meetings (see https://forge.ipsl.jussieu.fr/shaconemo/wiki).
In 2018, most CMIP6 experiments will be on tracks, so that the question is now open on where and how to store and share the final version of this information.
Implementation plan
These questions will be discussed during the NEMO in CMIP6 meeting 11 October 2018 . Conclusions will be provided here and decision made by end 2018.
