Run performances of ORCHIDEE trunk revision 3623
For the following performance test the revision X of the trunk has been used. All tests have been done at curie. In all tables below the real cpu time is given in seconds. The total cpu time can be calculated by multiplying with the numbers of MPI used.
Table 1: Resolution and number of cores
Following table shows the run time for 1 year of offline simulation with set up FG2.CWRR, see details below.
- The output level is monthly+daily output.
- In this table all simulation uses XIOS with 1MPI for the XIOS server.
- The first line in the table shows the total number of cores MPI for orchidee and the server. For example the case 64MPI, then 63MPI are used for the orchidee_ol executable and 1MPI for the XIOS server.
- No server is used for the case 1MPI.

Table 2: Resolution and level of output
In this table the set up FG2.CWRR is used with 63MPI for orchidee_ol and 1MPI for the server XIOS. For the case with IOIPSL, then 64MPI are used for orchidee_ol. The first line describes different levels of output.
