Description
Context
This ticket records actions and developments in respect of testing the Met Office GO6-GSI8-MEDUSA configuration on the MO Cray XC40 platforms.
In particular we start off with an apparently working configuration and apply array bounds checking vie the -Rb compiler switch to both
NEMO and CICE code.

Tim Graham has opened NEMO ticket #1866 to address issues with rnf and rnf_b in coupled models exposed during these investigations.

Branch branches/UKMO/dev_r5518_MEDUSA_stable_fixes created by taking a branch of the current head of branches/NERC/dev_r5518_NOC_MEDUSA_Stable at r7703.
The intention is to lodge any fixes relevant to MEDUSA/TOP in that branch. (There may well be others required in CICE or NEMO, however which are more appropriate in a different branch.)
