Description

The documentation of the trunk version need to be updated.

Two main issues :

(1) - Phasing with the v3.6_STABLE documentation.

(2) - Phasing with enhancement and simplifications performed in 2015

Strategy

I. Phasing with v3.6_Stable

All changes in the v3.6_stable documentation (see wiki page ​​1629_v3.6_stable_DOC) in the revision 6275

II. Phasing with 2015 code update

DONE ===>>> see revision 6289 (gm) : update almost all ocean engine documentation as follow:

• Chapters / Abstracts_Foreword : minor changes
• Chapters / Chap_DIU : minor changes
• Chapters / Chap_DOM : minor changes
• Chapters / Chap_DYN : remove Neptune effect description
• Chapters / Chap_Model_Basics : change in lateral ocean physics description
• Chapters / Chap_TRA : many changes to be in phase with the new namelist and to describe the changes in tracer advective and diffusive operators.

REMAINING TO BE DONE ===>>> Identified item that have to be updated are the following ones : 

• Chapters / Chap_DYN : update fmask issues with vorticity, phase new namelist variable, update changes in viscous operators ===>>> gm: on-going work
• Chapters / Chap_LDF : full rewriting associated with the rewriting of LDF directory and with forthcoming Smagorinsky update in v3.6
• Chapters / Chap_SBC : phasing with forthcoming update in v3.6 ; restructure the chapter

• Chapters / Chap_LBC : phasing with forthcoming update in v3.6
• Chapters / Chap_ZDF : phasing with forthcoming update in v3.6.
• Chapters / Chap_STO : phasing with forthcoming update in v3.6

Needed UPDATE of the CODE itself ===>>>

• addition of ln_traadv_NONE , ln_dynadv_NONE option in namtra_adv and namdyn_adv namelist
