#2124 closed Bug (wontfix)
Unmasked avmu and avmv in GLS scheme for jk=jpk (with explicit bottom friction only) creates spurious mixing

Component: | OCE | Version: | v3.6 |
Severity: | minor | Keywords: | OPA v3.6 |

Description
Context
Vertical viscosities at U and V points (avmu, avmv) are not masked in GLS scheme at very last level (jpk).
Analysis
If number of wet cells equals jpk-1, this triggers issues at the bottom. Note that this problem only occurs if ln_bfrimp=.false. (i.e. not the usual case) because avmu and avmv are indeed set to zero in dynzdf_imp if ln_bfrimp=.true.. This a priori only concerns NEMO_3_6_STABLE.
Fix
Extend masking of avmu/avmv in GLS from jpkm1 to jpk.
